Cost managers are in a perfect position to see how projects – and clients’ budgets – can benefit from an integrated approach. 

Because integration enables us to get involved earlier, designs can be steered to achieve the right balance between the client’s expectations of the building and the available budget. This doesn’t inhibit the creativity of the design team, but helps to focus its effort.

A further benefit becomes apparent when designs are put out to tender. Because any design conflicts have been fully resolved by the integrated team, unknowns are reduced for contractors, allowing them to submit more economical quotes.
