ONE Creative environments (ONE) is a multi-disciplinary design company comprising of: architects, landscape architects, civil and structural engineers, mechanical and electrical engineers, interior designers, urban designers, masterplanners and project managers working at the forefront of BIM.
We are looking for an experienced, exceptional Senior Mechanical Engineer who has the ability to design creative solutions balanced with a strong technical ability to deliver high performance systems.
The successful candidate will help lead the mechanical discipline of the building services team in conjunction with the Technical Director and will need to be self-motivated, able to work on their own initiative and a team player that shows demonstrable leadership and a commitment to the development of others.
An outstanding communicator that is well organised with project management skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver effectively and efficiently to tight deadlines and budgets is vital for this important client facing role.
You should be comfortable and proficient in using ICT effectively including: sketch design, engineering analysis tools and Microsoft Office tools (especially Word and Excel). Experience in working in a Revit/BIM environment to deliver MEP design solutions is a must as is knowledge and experience of controlling of outputs from CAD design systems including 3D drawing programmes (such as Revit), dynamic thermal modelling and other leading analytical software.

The successful candidate should have a well-developed understanding and experience of low carbon design for the built environment as well as hands on knowledge of passive design and associated building services to deliver sustainable buildings.
MCIBSE and IEng are essential, and you will need to lead a project from inception through to the construction and handover phase including: preparing drawings, BIM models, specifications, tender and construction information, monitoring works in production and dealing with clients, contractors and suppliers. You will also need to successfully perform the role of Design Team Leader (DTL), where allocated this responsibility.
