Building Services

Mechanical & Electrical Engineering

You can be confident that ONE’s mechanical and electrical engineers (M&E engineers) will provide fully compliant solutions that optimise your building’s performance.

Our design skills for MEP engineering: reduce risk, provide innovative and sustainable solutions that lower both operational and capital costs ultimately saving our clients’ money.

The team is involved through all the RIBA Stages, from 1 through to 7, often working client side from Stage 5 alongside the contractor for MEP construction, giving you continuity for your project and peace of mind for compliance.

Our approach

We specialise in designing and optimising building services technology – delivering systems that are simple, efficient and effective.

Our engineers are not just interested in pipes, ducts and wires, but in the whole environment: how systems are integrated, how they perform over time, and how people interact with them.

While we have earned a reputation as skilled problem solvers, our early involvement in a project will ensure that many problems never come into existence – always the best solution.

We are experienced across sectors from luxury hotels, education, residential and healthcare through to industrial and commercial to name a few. We ensure that functionality and usability are central to the solutions we provide which are cost-effective, easily maintained and promote comfort, health and productivity.

Renewable and Natural Technology

Looking ahead to the U.K.’s net zero target, MEP engineering services have a key role to play in reducing carbon in our built environment and we have received recognition for our sustainable solutions in many prestigious awards.

With a fabric first design, energy analysis and ventilation strategy, the team designs energy efficient and sustainable solutions that yield low-carbon buildings using renewable technology. Find out more about our sustainable approach and our extensive experience with environmental engineering.

A skilled team that you can trust

You can rely on our team to provide the best possible solutions using the latest industry expertise and technology.

Our M & E engineers are approachable, client focused and provide a personal service every time. We work on projects of all sizes with clients coming back time and again for a service they know they can trust.

Mechanical and electrical engineering are an integral part of a design team which enhances building performance, reduces risk and lowers operational and capital costs. At ONE, our professional building services engineers work alongside all other disciplines which brings huge benefits and an integrated solution.

Our Expertise

The ONE building services team includes mechanical and electrical engineers with practical experience of systems in use. The team uses the latest industry standard technology, Building Information Modelling (BIM) and digital engineering. This ensures that high level integration with other disciplines happens from the outset of the project, resulting in optimum building performance.

The team analyses computer simulations of the thermal performance of buildings (Thermal Modelling) and are registered Low Carbon Energy Assessors with environmental assessment against the UK BREEAM standards to make sure that the design is as efficient as it possibly can be.

Contact us today

If you are looking for MEP engineering firms and consultants who work across the UK, we have offices in Worcester (HQ), Birmingham, London and Cardiff and distance is no barrier. Contact us today, we would love to hear from you.
