ONE welcomes Joel Pearson to the Board

Multi-disciplinary design company, ONE Creative environments, has today (31 July) announced the appointment of Joel Pearson to their Board of Directors.

ONE, which has a Worcester HQ and offices in Birmingham, London and Cardiff is currently celebrating 50 years in business. Today’s announcement shows the company’s commitment to further growth, having seen significant success over the years working across the UK and internationally.

Prior to the appointment, Joel has been ONE’s Technical Director of Mechanical Engineering for their award-winning engineering team that delivers high‑performance, energy‑efficient and sustainable engineering design.

With over 20 years of industry experience, Joel has developed a strong track record across multiple sectors, including delivering projects for some of the UK’s leading retailers such as Waitrose, Marks & Spencer and Debenhams as well as numerous flagship stores for both Primark and John Lewis. His experience spans many other sectors including leisure, residential, healthcare, education, public buildings, and commercial/industrial developments.

ONE’s vision: “Creating a better world through design, sustainability and innovation” aligns closely with Joel’s own values. As a certified Low Carbon Consultant, he is passionate about sustainable design and enabling clients to meet their net zero and low carbon ambitions. Joel is also a core member of ONE’s ESG/Social Value Committee with the company being a Certified B Corporation™ in recognition of its commitment to high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.

Over the company’s 50 years history, ONE has continued to expand and flourish with significant growth. In 2023, the number of Directors increased from four to seven with the appointment of three other outstanding team members joining the existing Board.  Now a Board of eight with the addition of Joel in 2025, the company is well positioned for further growth in new markets with: Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Civil & Structural Engineering, Building Services, Digital Estates and Building Information Modelling (BIM) all now represented on the Board.
