ONE wins three awards plus commended at the Worcestershire Architecture Awards

Last night ONE’s team attended the Worcestershire Architecture Awards and was delighted to win in three categories and receive Commended in a fourth.
At a great event, which showcased all of the entries, ONE was announced the winner for:
- The Sustainability award for ZX Lidars’ new HQ
- The Unbuilt project in Worcestershire award for Bromsgrove’s Commercial and Cultural Hub
- The Unbuilt Project Outside Worcestershire for Walsall Active Public Spaces project.
The new Forest of Dean Community Hospital, which was officially opened by Princess Anne, also received Commended in the Built Project outside Worcestershire category.
ONE works across the UK and overseas and prides itself on great design, sustainability and innovation. Its is fantastic to receive this recognition close to our Worcester HQ.
The judging panel included: Dr Jemma Browne, Head of College of Architecture at Birmingham City University, Matthew Redding, Associate at Gensler and Stephanie Preece, editor of Worcester News.
As well as winning these awards we have also been shortlisted in the “Peoples Choice Award”, which will be chosen by the readers of the Worcester News, for the Weighing room at Worcester Racecourse scheme designed by ONE.
