ONE’s Digital Twin R&D Innovation shortlisted for sustainability award

ONE is thrilled to be shortlisted for the ‘Best Carbon Monitoring Tool’ at the 2022 Building Innovation Awards.

Using the latest technology to drive sustainable outcomes is central to the company’s Sustainability Strategy, ensuring that the team provides clients with the best opportunity to understand their energy use, benchmark, minimise performance gaps and reduce ongoing costs.

The innovative solution uses a Digital Twin concept and combines Building Information Modelling (BIM) and the Internet of Things (IoT).  It has fully configurable tools that visually display real time data within the 3D model environment to enable the efficient management of modern built environments. These technologies are leveraged by ONE’s Low Carbon Consultants within Building Services (MEP), with digital Information Management specialists also within the company’s Digital Estates team.

ONE’s understanding of these technologies enables them to inform clients at an early stage, support the specification, development, handover and ongoing monitoring of digital energy management solutions.
