Foundations and Structural Engineering: At preliminary design stage we undertake detailed foundation assessments to determine the most appropriate solution for your site, including a review of ground conditions and tree influences to mitigate risks and introduce opportunities to save money and materials. Our structural engineers will explore structural solutions for the building to integrate any systems into the architectural design at the earliest possible stage whilst considering effective commercial, procurement and programme opportunities.

Efficient, compliant, and cost-effective MEP solutions: Our MEP (mechanical and electrical engineering) team is passionate about low carbon solutions to enable clients to meet their net zero targets. Having won industry awards in sustainability, the team is experienced in a range of solutions including Photo Voltaic (PV) and air source heat pumps as well as Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers and smart home technology to support modern living.

Development Infrastructure and Highways: We have extensive infrastructure experience having designed new roads, modified existing junctions and designed complicated levels within existing sites. Experience of technical agreements with Highways Authorities including Stopping Up Orders, Section 278 Access Agreements and Section 38 Agreements for new lengths of adopted carriageway.

Green Infrastructure and Drainage: We are well versed in solutions driven by green infrastructure following SuDS design principles. At Concept and Planning stage, we can provide feasibility and technical reports to accompany planning applications including flood risk
assessments, flood response plans and hydraulic modelling, where needed. Where technical approval is required, we can produce Section 185 sewer diversion schemes, Section 104 Adopted Drains and Section 106 Agreements, where connections into existing sewers are required.

We find that most schemes have challenges in terms of water quality and attenuation requirements, which we solve using a combination of proprietary products such as hydrodynamic separators, underground storage tanks or networks of open basins, ditches and swales where space allows.
